I started to learn how to drive at 22 after deciding that I had put it off long enough. My driving instructor Phil was brilliant. I found him to be extremely patient with me as I slowly got to learn the various skills to pass my test. He was very flexible with times and where he would pick me up from meaning it was easy to fit driving lessons in around my day. On the test day itself Phil calmed me down with everything that would happen and this paid dividends as I managed to pass first time. I am now about to embark on Pass Plus with Phil and I would recommend him to anyone.

My instructor was a calm and patient man and I believe the driving environment he provided was perfect to learn in! When I made mistakes he wouldn’t necessarily worry about the mistake but concentrate on rectifying them! My instructor provided continuous support during the theory exam.  Nine times out of ten this would be in the car – this benefited me as each question that was asked was linked to real life situations!  He was always open and honest with me.  I couldn’t have asked for more.  Thank you for your help.

My name is Matthew and I started my driving lessons with Phil from Top Drive UK just after my 17^th Birthday in 2007. I started off a very nervous driver as many people do, driving a good 15% below the speed limit! Gradually Phil moulded me into a confident yet cautious driver. I had lessons for 6 months (in which time I passed my theory) before I passed my driving test. I found Phil to be a great driving instructor, he was calm and gentle, easy to talk to, and never pushed me beyond what I was comfortable with. At the time I was at college, so going out for a driving lesson was a nice break from studying. Phil was able to be flexible with locations and times. After passing my test I completed the Pass Plus course to improve my driving further. Phil was able to give me practical advice about driving on what can be the dangerous roads of today. The course included motorway driving, night driving and country road driving. There is no way of being completely prepared for what the roads can throw at you, but Phil gave me an insight into what to expect and how to handle a car safely and efficiently. I found Top Drive’s rates to be very reasonable when comparing them to other driving instructors’ rates. I have and will continue to recommend Phil and Top Drive UK to anyone who is looking for driving lessons.

At the age of 22 I felt it was about time that I got behind the wheel of a car.  Top Drive UK offered me three 2 hour lessons a week, including 1 hour absolutely free because I was a novice driver.  My instructor, Phil, was very patient and supportive as he took me through the various lessons on the syllabus that were required in order to pass.  I was very impressed with the pace I was learning at and knew this was due to Phil’s precise yet fun tuition.  Exactly a month after I began my first lesson he believed I was ready to take the test – and he was right! I passed my driving test first time and only have Top Drive UK to thank!
